JUSTIN CHEN, MD, FAAAAI, FACAAI

Allergist / Immunologist

Dr. Justin Chen is an adult & pediatric allergist whose mission is bringing the absolute best allergy, asthma and immunology care to East Texas. 

​

Dr. Chen graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in biochemistry, where he received the college's highest award for academic and extracurricular achievement. He earned his M.D. at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Allergy & Immunology were completed at the UT Southwestern University Hospitals & Clinics, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he was privileged to train with some of the most respected names in the field.

Dr. Chen is board-certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), and is on the Board of Directors for the Texas Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society.  These designations recognize his leadership and dedication to the latest standards of care through continual education.

Dr. Chen has published and spoken at state and national conferences on drug allergies, chronic urticaria and food allergies. He was honored by the AAAAI and UT Southwestern for his research on penicillin allergy testing. He is on staff at both Longview Regional and Good Shepherd Medical Centers and serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Texas A&M College of Medicine / Good Shepherd Medical Education program.  He is a past-president of the Gregg-Upshur County Medical Society and was named a Super Doctors® Rising Star.

Outside of medicine Dr. Chen has completed several full and half-marathons over the years. He also enjoys swimming, travel (especially the great outdoors), Aggie sports and spending time with his wife and excitable dog.

EMILY WILLIAMS, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Originally from White Oak, Emily Williams attended Texas A&M University for her B.S. in public health, followed by her Bachelor's in Physician Assistant studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.   Emily brings over 25 years of experience as a PA in both the primary care and allergy & immunology setting, including busy multi-physician allergy practice in Denton and Flower Mound, prior to returning to East Texas..

 

Emily brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and compassion to the practice.  Her professional interests include allergy, asthma, longevity medicine, and disease prevention--areas where she is passionate about helping patients achieve long term health and wellness. 

​

Outside of her clinical work, Emily enjoys spending quality time with her husband of 24 years and their two adult daughters.  She also loves exercising, reading, and boating on the beautiful lakes of East Texas.  She is excited to bring her experience and patient-centered approach to East Texas, joining Dr. Chen is serving the local community.
